Northern Explorer Supply opened our doors in May 2024. With decades of outdoor recreation business success and a degree in Parks & Recreation Management, the owner founded NES to:

GWLT facilitates conservation lands within Eliot, South Berwick, Berwick, North Berwick, Wells, and Ogunquit, Maine.
Formed in 1986, York Land Trust is a nonprofit organization that protects and cares for significant natural lands and waterways in the greater York Maine area for the benefit of the community and the environment. YLT has permanently protected more than 5,100 acres of land in the York area.

Northern Explorer Supply sells and rents sit-on-top kayaks, stand up paddleboards, camping equipment, inshore fishing poles, beach furniture and canopies, dogwear, electric outboard motors by Newport Vessels, Esquif Canoes, and souvenirs by Gallery Concepts of Maine. We are located near Long Sands Beach, Cape Neddick Beach, Short Sands Beach, and other York Beaches. NES rents and sells wetsuits to those who wish to surf, paddle, or swim in the area.
